Forthcoming article by Dave Ward about collaboration as a process. Sections will include group dynamics (how groups work); group emotional learning; planning aims and purpose of the group; leadership and facilitation; defining and choosing tasks (no square pegs in oval holes); systems theory and groups. When dealing with cross disciplinary projects it is important for all group members to not only have some knowledge of other disciplines but also to be aware of the timelines involved. This is particularly important in Education where assessment schedules have to be taken into account.
These articles appeared in Resolution magazine in 2011. Amongst other things they explain the rational behind a lot of JAMES thinking on Education and Training, how the JAMES accreditation programme came about and visions for the future.
